2017 International Student Enrollment Survey

Travel Ban Implications on Higher Education
  • Many questions remain for education leaders in the wake of President Trump's enacted travel ban, including how this order will effect international students and their intent to enroll in U.S. institutions.

Royall & Company surveyed 2,104 students from 150 different countries (including Syria, Iran, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen) regarding their interest in studying in the U.S. and the results suggest that if the current political climate persists, it could have a significant impact on international student enrollments.
