Technology's positive impact on students at Cerro Coso Community College
Back in 2014, leaders at Cerro Coso Community College faced growing dissatisfaction from students around their inability to effectively map out their course schedules each semester. They weren't confident they would be able to get into the classes that they needed and, as a result, the applicant conversion rate fell below 45%.
After partnering with EAB, Cerro Coso underwent a complete redesign of college-wide pathways and process to aid students with long-term scheduling.
They realized that with over 60% of their students enrolled part-time, there was a heightened need for more flexible course scheduling options that extended beyond traditional in-person classes.
Read the case study to learn how Cerro Coso has seen a 16% increase in the enrollee conversion rate from fall 2016 to 2017 and gained $524K in additional enrollment fees from enrolling a greater proportion of their total applicant pool in fall 2017.
