Despite improvements in college going rates, significant gaps in college attendance remain across racial and income groups. Perhaps most concerning, degree attainment gaps have grown. Evidence would suggest that there are significant groups of underrepresented and low-income students who have the academic ability to succeed in post-secondary education, but never get the chance. This presentation will provide superintendents with proven strategies to help their districts close that gap.
