Campuses are rallying together to support the holistic needs of students and close equity gaps. Timely responses to student concerns through early alerts and flags raised by faculty and the campus community play a critical role, but the data shows us that only a quarter of alerts reach a resolution at many schools. To address this, leaders must examine their processes to ensure students are supported and feel empowered to overcome challenges at pivotal moments in their college journeys.
In this session, EAB expert Meacie Fairfax shares strategies to improve student response to alerts and outreach, detail how a student success management system can help increase utilization of institutional support services, and share a recent story of how Northern Essex Community College used EAB’s Navigate to facilitate meaningful connections between students and faculty.
