Webinar for Superintendents and Senior District Leaders

Superintendent Research Briefing: Building a High-Performance Leadership Team

EAB and AASA, The School Superintendents Association, hosted a webinar for Superintendents to share the common principles that drive success among district leadership teams. Watch the webinar on-demand to learn how to apply the "hallmarks of high-performance leadership" to enact meaningful change in your own district.

About the Webinar

Why do some districts perform better than others? A few outlier districts seem to consistently make much greater progress against the same challenges all school systems face—whether it’s addressing student mental health concerns, closing student learning gaps, or improving teacher morale. What do these districts, and their superintendents, do differently?

Over the past six years, EAB researchers have been working to help districts nationwide make progress on public education’s most persistent challenges, and a simple truth has become clear: Successful district leadership teams align around a common set of principles that create an “engine for change” that can be applied to practically any challenge the district faces. This presentation shares the “hallmarks of high-performance leadership” uncovered through EAB’s research.
About the Superintendent Research Briefing Webinars: District leaders have a lot on their plates, and limited time to get up-to-speed on the many challenges facing their schools. EAB’s Superintendent Research Briefing webinars summarize the latest research to (1) help districts leaders get smart quickly on an important issue, and (2) provide them with actionable strategies they can take away to get started on addressing it. Join us to make faster progress on today’s most complex K-12 challenges.
