Preparing for the Next Decade in Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Support

Student mental health and wellbeing continues to be a priority for institutions in the new year. In this panel session co-hosted with Times Higher Education, EAB experts and university leaders shared their experiences and insights for supporting students.

Now more than ever, student mental health and wellbeing are garnering the attention of senior university leaders. From prioritising additional investments to embedding wellbeing into the curriculum, establishing a cross-institutional strategy has become non-negotiable.
In this webinar, co-hosted with Times Higher Education, EAB presented research on current and future trends in student mental health and wellbeing and convened a panel of practitioners to discuss how best to respond. Attendees looked at strategies to modernise how students find and use best-fit resources and innovative efforts to meet the changing needs of today’s students.
Leaders from the Trinity College Dublin, University of Bristol, and Glasgow Caledonian University shared how their institutions are offering more widespread wellbeing resources, engaging student peers in wellness efforts, and measuring institutional success.
