On-Demand Webinar

Navigating Divisive Conversations and Preventing District Flashpoints

EAB and the New Jersey Association of School Administrators hosted a special webinar for district leaders to discuss the critical challenge of navigating divisive conversations and preventing district flashpoints. Read on for more details.

About the Webinar

District leaders are spending twice the time combatting political and social flashpoints at a time when student outcomes and morale are at all-time lows. Most districts haven’t changed their response processes in years, even when the flashpoints of today are entirely different – namely, they are multi-faceted and comprised of factors that regularly go unaddressed. Consequently, districts aren’t fully responding, and time otherwise spent on strategic initiatives is wasted as flashpoints continue to drag on.

Instead, superintendents need a new approach to flashpoint response that recognizes the complexity and nuance of today’s problems. Lessons from out of industry show how to quickly deconstruct a complex flashpoint into its simple parts and then deploy appropriate strategies accordingly.

EAB and the New Jersey Association for School Administrators hosted a webinar for district leaders to discuss this critical challenge and share EAB's latest research on an effective approach to district flashpoint response. The on-demand webinar provides tangible strategies for navigating the political and social flashpoints of today.
